Rollover Effect Part 1

1. Make sure menu-button.fla Document still active.

2. Double Click menu button Home for editing button Symbol. on Timeline Panel appear four frame comprise with frame Up, Over, Down, and Hit.

3. Rigth Click on Frame Over than choose insert keyframe for input keyframe.

4. Choose again button menu Home than on properties inspector choose Text (fill) color red colour. The result is Home text change to be Red.

5. Push Ctrl+E for come back to Edit Document.

6. Next, double click menu button Gallery for make symbol button than give insert keyframe on frame Over.

Create Menu Button

1. Open Macromedia Flash MX 2004 programe than prepare New Document with push Ctrl+N. Ever New Document dialogue box appear click OK.

2. On Timeline Panel double click at Layer 1 so change layer name to be Menu.

3. Click Text Tool so on Property Inspector choose Font : Arial, Size : 20pt, Text (fill) color : Black, Align Left after it create text object Home.

4. Click Selection Tool for choose text object.

5. Push Ctrl+C with following Ctrl+Sift+V for duplicate text object to same potition original text object.
6. Hold on Shift button than push down arrow on keyboard third for move text object duplicate to under original text.

7. Click Text Tool so change Home text duplicate to be Gallery. look at image 1.4.
8. Click Selection Tool for choose Gallery text object than push Ctrl+C with following Ctrl+Shift+V for create text object duplicate.

9.Hold on Shift button than push down arrow button third for move text object duplicate potition to under.
10. Click Text Tool so change Gallery text duplicate to be News. look at image 1.5.

11. Create text object News duplicate than push down arrow button third so change to be Tutorial.

12. Use Selection Tool for choose Home text object than push F8 for change text object to be symbol.

13. On convert to symbol boxchoose Behavior : Button so in the part of Name give button-home, look at image 1.7 after that click OK.

14. Use the way of same to change the text object of Gallery, News, and Tutorial become the symbol Button. Give the name as according to text object that is button-gallery, button-news and button-tutorial.

15. After finishing to change the text object become the symbol button depress Ctrl+L to open the library panel, in it contain the symbol button is you make.

16. At the timeline panel click the button of Insert Layer to make layer 2 than change name of layer become Shape.

17. Click the Rectangle Tool to make the box object, but previously select the Fill Color of colour orange (or include the colour code #FF9900). For the Stroke Color select the None or without colour.

18. Click and drag according to guide at picture 1.12 - A to make the box object, its result like picture 1.12 - B.

19. Select the layer Shape at Timeline than move to underside of layer Menu by drag to underside. Its result like picture 1.13.

When layer Shape move to underside of layer Menu, box object at stage automatically follow to make a move to underside of menu button object.

20. Still at layer Shape, click Line Tool than make the object of straight line under Home button its way hold up the Shift button than click and drag as long as needed line.

21. Select the object with lines by Selection Tool depress Ctrl+C followed by Ctrl+Shift+V to make the mark object with lines the duplicate, afterwards depress the down arrow button several times to arrange the object position with lines the duplicate to be precisely among button of menu of Gallery and News.

22. Remake the object with lines the secondary duplicate then arrange its position precisely among button of menu of News and Tutorial.

23. Depress Ctrl+S for save of menu button than give the name button-menu.fla.

24. After save file, do the test movie by depressing Ctrl+Enter. Its Result is pointer will change in form of hand if placed the above menu button, because still be pure in the form of button so whenever clicked a menu not yet deflected to give the reaction anything.
